This conference represents our first foray in Asia to celebrate the works of the manga, anime, and gaming scholarship that has been, until now, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We are thrilled to be inviting scholars from Japan and Asia in general to this unique conference whose history has always encouraged both scholars and fans of these art forms.
We will be located at the Aoyama Gakuin University who have kindly welcomed us with the use of their facilities. Ed Hoff, Ursula Murray Husted, and I welcome you and hope that you are as excited about this event as we are.
